The First United Methodist Church of Oviedo was established in 1877, the Historic Sanctuary was built in 1955 and the colonial style architecture is ideal for the traditional and contemporary brides. The cranberry carpeting, wooden pews , plantation shutters and center aisle make for a beautiful bridal entrance. The seating capacity is 285 including the upper balcony. We have started construction on a new sanctuary that will match the colonial style of the current sanctuary and have a seating capacity of 750. Our wedding fees include use of facilities, wedding coordinator, sound operator, custodian, organist, pastor, pre-martial counseling, and use of candelabras and candles.
