Adult Programs and Ministries

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES: Classes meet year-round at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m., and are available for folks of every age and interest. People come from diverse backgrounds and meet together for study, discussion, support, and fellowship. Feel free to visit several classes until you find the one where you feel most at home.  For information on class topics, leaders, and locations, check with the Welcome Information Center in the portico area of the large Sanctuary. You can also call the church office (407-365-3255) or send an email for more details.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT PROGRAMS: Our Wednesday night programs follow the school schedule (August to May), and meet at 6:30–8:00 p.m. Selected Bible Studies and general topics of interest including craft making, parenting, marriage, and Financial Peace to aid in personal debt reduction, are just a few of the opportunities available. We also have children's and youth programs available during the same timeframe.

FOR MEN: Each Tuesday at 6:30 a.m., men of the church meet at the Town House Restaurant in downtown Oviedo for breakfast and fellowship. Our very active United Methodist Men meet on the third Sunday of each month at 7:00 a.m. (August - May) for a great breakfast and special programs. The cost is $4.00; first-timers eat free. We also have a men's T.E.A.M. (Transforming and Equipping All Men) group that offers Christian fellowship and participation in small group studies, sporting events, camping, and other activities.

FOR WOMEN: We have an ongoing Women's Bible Study on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. We also have a large, active unit of United Methodist Women with eight circles who meet monthly at various times and places, as well as participate in Women's Night of Fellowship four times a year.

SENIOR ADULTS: Our Young at Heart group meets every month (September - May) on the third Thursday for lunch and a special program. Contact Karen Quick, our Congregational Care Director, for more information on meeting times/locations and to RSVP.
